Q: I have some leftover wonton filling after I ran out of wrappers. What can I do with it?
A: DON'T THROW IT OUT!!! If you don't have much, just use it right away. If you have a lot, place it in a zip top bag and freeze it for next time.
Suggestion #1: Saute it with some vegetables for a nice stir fry.
Suggestion #2: Make them into little meatballs and throw them into your noodle soups!
Suggestion #3: Use it in congee! Saute the leftovers, breaking up any chunks and add them to your congee.
Suggestion #4: Stuff it in some peppers, pan fry it meat side down then flip over it is nicely browned and finish cooking it by covering and steaming or braising until the peppers are cooked through.
Suggestion #5: Saute it, breaking up the large chunks, and use as the meat in Vietnamese fresh spring rolls.
Suggestion #6: Saute it, breaking up the large chunks, and use it in bibimbap.
